PAG Direct is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead one of our high-volume Hyundai dealerships in the GTA.Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, the General Manager will be accountable for the dealership's financial performance, customer experience, people development, and day-to-day operations across new and used vehicles, F&I, service, and parts.We are looking for a complete dealership operator. The ideal candidate will bring high-volume import-dealership experience, strong financial discipline, and a proven ability to build capable teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAssume full accountability for the dealership's P&L, budget, forecast, expenses, DOP and NOPRecruit, coach and develop the management team while building succession plans and promoting talent from withinMaintain a robust relationship with Hyundai Canada and lead the dealership's progress toward achieving the Hyundai President's AwardLead customer experience, reputation management and a culture of accountability, collaboration, ethical conduct and continuous improvementVariable Operations - SalesLead new and used vehicle performance, including volume, market share, gross profit and inventory managementDrive a lease-focused sales strategy centred on renewals, pull-ahead opportunities, customer retention and repeat business through CRM utilizationManage used vehicle acquisition, appraisals, pricing, reconditioning, aging and inventory turnOversee F&I performance, lender relationships, product penetration, funding, chargebacks and regulatory complianceFixed Operations - AftersalesLead service and parts performance with a focus on customer retention, profitability and operational efficiencyMonitor labour sales, technician productivity, effective labour rate,
parts gross profit and service absorptionStrengthen collaboration between sales, service and parts to support lease retention, trade opportunities and customer lifetime valueEnsure strong warranty administration, repair quality and compliance with manufacturer standardsTraining and DevelopmentEnsure managers and employees complete all required Hyundai OEM product, process, compliance and certification trainingEstablish cross-functional training between sales, F&I, service, parts, BDC and administrationDevelop department-specific training plans based on performance gaps, business priorities and employee development needsBuild a culture of continuous learning through coaching, succession planning and internal career developmentQualificationsMinimum five years of successful automotive dealership General Manager experience, or equivalent senior dealership leadership experienceProven experience in a high-volume import-brand dealership is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of dealership financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and full P&L managementDemonstrated experience across new vehicles, leasing, used vehicles, F&I, service and partsStrong understanding of used vehicle aging, inventory turn, appraisal and reconditioningExperience leading and developing department managers and large teamsKnowledge of the Ontario automotive retail and regulatory environment, valid OMVIC registrationHyundai, Tekion, DealerTrack and vAuto experience are considered assetsWhat We OfferCompetitive executive compensation, including base salary and performance-based incentive compensationComprehensive benefits and Employee Assistance ProgramDirect access to executive leadershipManufacturer training and professional-development opportunitiesModern dealership technology and operating toolsThe chance to lead and develop a high-volume Hyundai dealership #J-18808-Ljbffr
