Key Responsibilities:
- Operate our boring mill and/or high speed CNC machines -- experience with Heidenhain and Fanuc Controls preferred
- Ability to operate overhead crane to load/remove molds
- Ability to set up work for machining -- square up, clamps, eyebolts, plates, roughing; experience with Fastmill (FCS) plates an asset
- Ability to review/edit programs -- Cimatron experience an asset
- Communicates tooling needs to CNC Manager and Shop Foreman
- Works efficiently to meet critical deadlines while maintaining quality
Qualifications:
- Previous high speed CNC and/or boring mill experience required
- Exceptionally well organized,
results-driven
- Ability to time manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks
- Accountable for work performed and strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem solving and technical skills
- Ability to work both days and afternoons
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience with operating overhead crane is preferred.
