Liftow is seeking an Experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair forklifts and handling equipment. This role promises extensive training and a full perks package, ensuring you are set up for success.
As part of Liftow, North America’s largest Toyota forklift dealership, you will diagnose and perform maintenance on various equipment for our customers. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery mechanics and be skilled in both electrical and hydraulic systems. Your ability to handle different environments and provide excellent service will be key in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain heavy duty forklifts and equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections
• Use diagnostic tools and electronic manuals effectively
• Keep work areas organized and clean
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary
Requirements:
• Trade certification or relevant diploma preferred
• 3-5 years’ mechanic experience necessary
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Experience with Toyota brand preferred
• Propane and PLT licenses advantageous
