Olds
Lead and develop the Olds College Rodeo Program as a Rodeo Coach. Engage with student-athletes in competitive settings to foster their growth, development, and success.
As a Rodeo Coach under the OC Ag Manager, you're responsible for managing team operations and coaching men's and women's rodeo teams. This role involves planning practices, overseeing competitions, and promoting an inclusive culture that emphasizes both academic and athletic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach and supervise student-athletes during CCRA competitions
• Develop yearly training plans and practice schedules
• Monitor the academic progress of rodeo athletes
• Ensure adherence to animal welfare and safety protocols
• Foster community engagement and cooperative relationships
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of coaching experience in rodeo
• Standard First Aid and CPR certification required
• NCCP Level 2 certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility for evening and weekend hours necessary
