Performs manual, N/C, grinding, and presetting of cutting tools in accordance with operation sheets, tool set‑up sheets, or drawings. Applies knowledge of cutting tool geometry and measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications.
Position Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of related work experience in tool grinding/pre‑setting of cutting tools.
- Knowledge of and experience with the use of precision measuring equipment, machining tools and grinding wheels.
- Ability to correctly interpret blueprints and other drawings.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work under tight time constraints.
- Ability to work within specified safety requirements at all times (e.g., PPE).
