Become a Family Preservation Specialist in Kapuskasing, committed to improving the lives of high-risk children and their families experiencing behavioral challenges. This full-time role focuses on intervention and training.
As part of the Family Preservation team, this twelve-month position entails providing intensive interventions to families facing severe emotional and behavioral difficulties. Responsibilities include child behavioral management and offering parental guidance training. Flexibility and excellent communication abilities are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Intervene intensively with high-risk children and families
• Lead child behavior management sessions for families
• Train parents in effective parenting strategies




• Utilize clinical skills to assess behavioral issues
• Maintain flexible working hours to accommodate family needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a similar area
• Three years of relevant experience required
• Bilingual in English and French
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Valid G2 or G Class driver’s licence required
