At Tap Roots Plumbing and Heating, we specialize in plumbing and mechanical systems for high-rise buildings, townhomes, and 4-6 storey wood frame. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our team!The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing mechanical construction projects from planning through closeout. This role requires a detail-oriented and technically proficient leader who can coordinate effectively with site staff, trades, vendors, and stakeholders. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project's lifecycle, ensuring that schedules, labor, quality, and costs are managed effectively. allocate to cost codes, and provide accurate billing and closeout reportingDeliver concise monthly project updates to executive leadership, covering labor, materials, risks, and progressCoordinate material, equipment, and prefab deliveries to align with construction schedulesLead QA/QC, commissioning, and end of project commissioning, including O&M manuals and LEED documentation where requiredMaintain strong working relationships with developers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teamsChampion safety compliance, ensuring documentation, training, and procedures meet all OHS requirementsContribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and project executionCollaborate with estimating, HR, and operations teams to support bidding, resourcing, and training initiativesWhat Sets You ApartMinimum 5 years in senior Project Manager RoleRed Seal Certification in Plumbing is an assetPMP designation considered an assetExperience managing residential projects, primarily high-rise residential.Solid communication skills – clear, concise, and effective, both verbally and in writing.Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Committed to collaboration, team success, and high-quality results.Integrity-driven, accountable, and consistent in delivering on responsibilities.Detail-oriented, technically sound, and proactive in problem-solvingFormal training in plumbing is considered an asset.Ability to travel between the office and job sites.Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
