Click here to apply as an internal applicant.Req ID: 223927Location: EasternZone,Strait Richmond HospitalDepartment: OPEZ Nursing/Emrg/GenMed/R SRHType of Employment: TemporaryHourly FT long-assignment(100%) x 1Management/Non UnionPositionPosting Closing Date: 16-Aug-26About the OpportunityReporting to the Health Services Director, the Health Services Manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of services and daily operations of people-centered programs for the General Medical and Alternate Level of Care Unit at Strait Richmond Hospital.Responsibilities include:Providing leadership and direction for the units and staff to ensure the goals and objectives are continually metPromoting and emphasizing people-centered care in partnership with the patient, family, and health care teamDeveloping, implementing and maintaining an active human resource plan including recruitment, selection, interviewing, and hiringPreparing and analyzing all relevant financial and clinical data, reports trends and identifies where corrective action is required for budget variances, implements changes as required, and evaluates the effectiveness of the changesEstablishing and maintaining creative and effective communication processes across clinical teams, geographically different sites, other disciplines,



and other stakeholders within NSHas requiredManaging process improvements for quality patient care and enhancing capacityActive and effective participation in meetings and on committeesAbout YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Baccalaureate degree from a health disciplineMaster's degree an assetMust be registered with the relevant health discipline college/associationFive years of relevant clinical experienceFive years experience in a leadership role with responsibilities related to program planning, evaluation, human resource and financial managementExperience and expertise in process planning and redesign workDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues and trends impacting the publicly funded health care systemRequires a high level of sound judgment, initiative, and self-directionDemonstrates high degrees of independent decision making, motivation, creativity, flexibility, adaptability, and change management knowledgeProven and highly developed leadership skills including vision, self-awareness, relationship and team building skills, and communication skillsCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursTemporary full-time position; 75 hours bi-weeklyApproximately 12 monthsMay require occasional after-hours or weekend support for the unitsCompensation and BenefitsPay Scale Type: ManagementBand: 6Hourly Rate: $53.59 - $65.65Annual Salary:
