School District No. 73 (Kamloops‑Thompson) is currently accepting applications for a full‑time continuing Secondary Teacher at Clearwater Secondary starting September 1, 2026. Only those selected for interview will be contacted.

Class Assignments

The class assignments for this position are projected and may vary within the subject areas:

- 2 blocks of Careers (Grade 11)
- 1 block of Workplace Math (Grades 10/11)
- 1 block of PHE (Grade 9)
- 1 block of Mosaic (Grade 8, Careers/Leadership)
- 1 block of Mosaic (Grade 9, Careers/Leadership)
- 1 block of Social Studies (Grade 10)

Qualifications

Applicants must provide the following documentation to have their application considered complete:

- Cover letter with application posting number
- Resume including references (phone and email contact information for references)
- British Columbia teaching certificate (or application if pending)
- TQS category card (or application if pending)
- Transcripts from all relevant post‑secondary education




- Practicum evaluation or recent teaching report
- Reference letters

Salary and Benefits

The starting annual salary ranges from $64,594 to $106,217, prorated to FTE. Placement on the grid is based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
