The organization is focused on operational excellence, scalable growth, and strengthening its finance leadership team.The RoleThe Vice President, Finance will lead the day-to-day finance function, overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, team leadership, and operational finance across the organization.This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, developing teams, and partnering cross-functionally in a rapid-paced environment. The role also offers long-term growth into a broader strategic finance leadership position.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & ReportingLead month-end close, financial reporting, accounting operations, and inventory costingEnsure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reportingDeliver management reporting, KPI tracking, and variance analysisMaintain strong financial controls and scalable finance processesLeadership & Business PartnershipLead and develop the finance teamPartner with operations, sales, purchasing,



and warehousing to support business performanceProvide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-makingIdentify opportunities for efficiency improvements and margin enhancementProcess Improvement & Cash FlowDrive process improvements, automation, and ERP optimization initiativesImprove visibility into working capital and cash flow performanceSupport inventory, receivables, and payables optimizationFully assume ownership of all internal finance functions.Establish a high-performing and clearly structured finance team.Improve reporting quality, visibility, and insight.Identify and begin implementing key process improvements.Build strong cross-functional partnerships across the business.Qualifications10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles.Strong background in controllership and operational finance.Experience in distribution, retail, or product-based environments preferred.Experience with ERP systems (Syspro experience is an asset).Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
