Join American Iron & Metal as a Shuttle Train Operator in Montréal-Est, Québec. Contribute to efficient railcar management and material loading while ensuring safety standards are upheld.

This full-time position runs Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. You will operate shuttle trains and assist with the arrival and positioning of railcars on site. Responsibilities include loading materials, performing safety checks, and maintaining track integrity, while adhering to safety protocols throughout your shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and position railcars upon arrival
• Load materials into railcars accurately
• Maintain tracks and switches in valuable condition
• Cut oversized metal parts with a torch safely
• Execute safety checks for rail equipment

Requirements:
• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• Skilled in operating heavy equipment
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards
• Ability to work autonomously and responsibly
• Experience in welding is a plus
