Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time. Hours of Work: 30 hours per week. Wage: 36.70 per hour + 4% vacation pay. Vacancy: 1.

Responsibilities

- Assist in supervising and coordinating front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to company standards
- Support the implementation of daily operational plans, including staff scheduling, task delegation, and workflow coordination
- Monitor staff performance during shifts, provide guidance, and assist with training current employees
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met during all operating hours
- Assist in maintaining compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations
- Support inventory control processes, including monitoring stock levels, receiving deliveries, and minimizing waste




- Address customer inquiries and resolve service issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist in cash handling procedures, including balancing tills, verifying transactions, and following internal controls
- Support the preparation of basic reports related to sales, labour, and inventory usage
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to implement operational improvements and cost control measures
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed, including cleanliness, security, and readiness for service
- Promote a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork, accountability, and consistent communication among staff

Employment Requirements

- Completion of secondary school is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food service or hospitality
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a restaurant setting is required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high customer volume
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support team management and maintain operational standards
