Join our team as a Life Skills Coach in a group home setting, providing essential support and life skills workshops. Engage with clients to assess needs while fostering development and independence.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience working on-site. You will appraise clients’ needs, implement successful life skills workshops, and supervise clients' activities. Robust interpersonal skills and effective communication are crucial for success in this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed reports and case histories
• Appraise client needs for services offered
• Implement life skills workshops for clients
• Supervise activities in group homes and half-way houses
• Liaise with families and other social services agencies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of related experience
• Certification in NVCI, First Aid, and CPR
• Valid driver's license for client transportation
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Capable of handling more than 100 lbs
