This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.Your future duties and responsibilitiesBuild best in class BI; working closely with Product Owners, BAs, Scrum Masters, Project Management and Stakeholders to deliver on the product roadmapEnsure delivery of negotiated product/function while following client standards and methodologies. This includes ensuring proper documentation is created, including design specifications, developing programs, test strategies, peer reviews, change control, release preparation, artefacts for operational readiness and steady state supportWork closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, data specifications and translate highly complex requirements into technical design and implementationRequired qualifications to be successful in this roleStrong experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service)Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)Good knowledge of SQL and relational databasesExperience with data modeling and ETL processesUnderstanding of data visualization best practicesFamiliarity with Excel and data analysis techniquesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fieldExperience with Azure (e.G., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL)Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsCompensationThe company is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role.
