As the Senior Vehicle and Equipment Trainer, you will foster a culture of safety and excellence by addressing regulatory training needs across departments. Key responsibilities include coaching staff, implementing legislative-compliant training, and serving as the primary contact for external trainers. Your mission is to ensure the safe operation of Town vehicles and equipment, helping to reduce collision risks and enhance operational safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop training programs for vehicle and equipment operation
• Coach and assess staff on safe usage practices




• Conduct vehicle collision investigations and report findings
• Liaise with HR on recent hires and training needs
• Monitor compliance with provincial regulations and training standards
Requirements:
• Minimum DZ driver’s license; AZ preferred
• 5+ years of municipal equipment operation experience
• Strong knowledge of MTO and NSC regulations
• Supervisory experience of at least 5 years
• Defensive Driving Instructor Certification required
