We are recruiting a full-time Legal Assistant in our Saskatoon office. This position will be responsible for day-to-day file management, maintenance and organization, attend to dictation involving advanced legal document drafting and management of their assigned lawyer’s calendar. We will train the right candidate, but preference will be given to those who have five years or more experience in effectively supporting lawyers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a solicitor legal professional
- Manage time entries, disbursement entries, client billings and payments
- Competence in responding to client inquiries over the phone and through email
- Draft and edit emails, letters, and other legal documents, as required
- Maintain digital and physical filings
- Manage lawyer’s calendars, bookings and hard deadlines
- Experience with Saskatchewan Corporate Registry, Land Titles and Personal Property Registry
- Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite package, including Word, Excel and Outlook
