Backed by Havas' global network of strategy, creative, media, and technology experts, Enverta combines deep platform expertise with customer experience strategy to help organizations modernize their marketing ecosystems, accelerate digital transformation, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
We are currently seeking a Director, Governance & Architecture to lead the governance, standards, and architecture framework that supports enterprise marketing technology and customer experience platforms.
Role Details
As the Product Director, Governance & Architecture, you will own the strategy, standards, and governance framework that ensures enterprise marketing technology platforms remain scalable, interoperable, and aligned across the organization.
Working across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Marketing, Data, Analytics, Risk, and Customer Experience teams, you will establish the governance, taxonomy, metadata, and architectural standards that enable consistent delivery across multiple products, platforms, and business domains.
This is a leadership role focused on governance, enterprise architecture standards, product strategy, stakeholder alignment, and Agile product delivery.
What You'll Do
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and governance framework for enterprise marketing technology architecture, ensuring platforms remain scalable, interoperable, and aligned across the organization.
- Define and govern enterprise architecture, data, taxonomy, metadata,
and naming standards that create consistency across digital platforms and customer engagement capabilities.
- Establish reusable governance frameworks, delivery standards, and architectural guidelines that enable cross-functional teams to deliver against a common set of principles.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Marketing, Data, Analytics, Risk, and Customer Experience teams to ensure enterprise platforms remain integrated, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
- Review platform and solution designs to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and emerging AI governance principles.
- Champion consistent taxonomy, metadata, and information standards that improve interoperability, reporting, personalization, and enterprise data quality.
- Act as the governance lead for shared platform capabilities, ensuring delivery teams adopt consistent standards while supporting long-term scalability and operational excellence.
- Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, influencing priorities, aligning cross-functional teams, and managing complex dependencies without direct authority.
- Lead Agile product delivery by defining roadmaps, epics, user stories, and governance priorities while enabling delivery teams to execute within established enterprise standards.
- Navigate ambiguity, make informed product decisions, and continuously evolve governance frameworks that support enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of experience leading enterprise governance, architecture, product strategy, digital transformation,
or marketing technology initiatives within complex organizations.
- Proven experience establishing governance frameworks, enterprise standards, taxonomy, metadata, or architecture strategies across large-scale digital ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of Agile product management methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, roadmap development, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience partnering with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Marketing, Data, Analytics, Risk, and Customer Experience teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Comfortable operating in a squad/Crew model, owning your squad's portfolio of capabilities directly.
- Experience defining enterprise taxonomy, metadata, naming conventions, governance frameworks, and architecture standards that support scalable digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise marketing technology ecosystems, customer engagement platforms, data governance, AI governance, and regulatory compliance within complex environments.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), or similar enterprise technologies is considered an asset.
- Robust analytical, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
