Overview
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager for a client in Toronto. They are seeking PMs with experience working on technical/development projects, especially in the Wealth Management sector.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership to successfully deliver small to mid size initiatives.Understand business needs for clients in Banking and Financial Services.Be responsible for overall project planning and work estimates.Coordinate project teams and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report variances.Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders including executives.Prepare reports and presentations to share project updates.Identify and resolve issues that arise during project execution.Assist with proposals and pre-sales as needed.RequirementsMinimum 7 years’ experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering projects as a project manager.Minimum Bachelor’s degree complemented with Project Management Certification (PMP) and/or Agile/Scaled Agile certification.Results oriented; highly developed consultative,



interpersonal skills and a team player.Demonstrated project management skills with experience delivering complex projects.Familiarity with project management tools.Solid communication skills and direct communication experience with senior business and technology executives.Proven track record of high customer satisfaction and ability to motivate and mentor team members.At least 3 years’ experience in the Financial Industry, preferably in wealth management or banking.Excellent written and presentation skills with ability to communicate at all levels with business and technology teams.A positive, can-do attitude and customer-focused approach.Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Problem solving skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel.Strong business and IT knowledge and experience in the Financial Industry; understanding of delivery methodologies and architectures.Experience delivering projects using true Agile/Scrum/Hybrid methodologies is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
