(Such as SIS-Mayet, LMS-Edsby, School Messenger, eScribe, M365 Applications, etc.).Key ResponsibilitiesProvides telephone and remote software and application support for all staff.Provides onsite support and training when required.Develops and provides manuals, presentations,
and workshops for divisional software and applications.Prepares communication and information for staff regarding IT deployments and outages.Maintains a list of software and applications.Provides support and assists with maintenance of divisional websites and portals.Provides basic support to Pembina Trails families for use of Divisional platforms.Creates and maintains FAQs for Software and Applications.Performs other duties as may be assigned to support the efficient operation of the Department.Skills and QualificationsSkill and Knowledge – RequiredPost-secondary education in Information Technology or another related field or 3?years equivalent work experience.Demonstrated technology experience including Microsoft Office, education software, and proprietary enterprise level software.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Robust organizational and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of employees with various skill levels.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal with complaints and concerns effectively.Keen attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Skill and Knowledge – DesiredPrior experience in an educational environment.IT-specific certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Net+Experience with school-based applications.
