Overview
Flowcase is the system of record for people and project experience at enterprise AEC firms. We help architecture, engineering, and construction firms centralize their proposal data and content so teams can quickly find and generate winning resumes, project sheets, and proposals. We work with firms like WSP, Ramboll, and Sweco. We're a lean, fast‑moving team with offices in Toronto, London, Oslo, and Copenhagen.
Account Executive
We're hiring an Account Executive to grow our North American AEC business. This role is relationship‑heavy: you will build your own outbound pipeline, convert inbound demand from our content and events, and work alongside our GTM team. You will be the primary North America leader, meeting with prop, marketing, and BD leaders at engineering firms, including at industry events.
Responsibilities
- Run the full sales cycle for North American AEC accounts, from first conversation to signed contract. Deals typically land in the $20K to $100K ARR range.
- Qualify and convert inbound leads from our content, webinars, events, and hand raisers.
- Build outbound pipeline into priority AEC accounts using trigger‑based outreach around signals like M&A; activity, prop‑role hiring, and headcount growth.
- Attend and work industry events such as SMPS and APMP conferences, executive dinners, meetups, etc., and turn those relationships into pipeline and revenue.
- Build genuine relationships across the prop and AEC community.
- Run clean discovery, identify the economic buyer early, and keep deals moving past evaluation.
- Keep HubSpot current; accurate pipeline data matters.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience,
ideally full‑cycle and self‑mandated quota.
- Self‑sufficient pipeline builder; not dependent on inbound leads.
- Robust at relationship selling, able to earn trust with senior buyers over a longer cycle.
- Organized and reliable with CRM hygiene and follow‑up.
- Willingness to travel for events and client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- SaaS sales experience.
- Existing relationships in the AEC world or in the prop and bid‑management community (APMP, SMPS).
- Familiarity with how engineering and consulting firms win work through RFPs and formal proposals.
- Track record selling to marketing, BD, or prop leaders.
Benefits
- Generous time off – 25 days of paid leave per year plus Ontario public holidays.
- RRSP with employer match.
- Comprehensive healthcare – health, dental, life, travel, and disability insurance.
- Flexible work arrangements – hybrid options to support work‑life balance.
- Other perks – paid day off on your birthday, free lunch and coffee on office days, and participation in company gatherings at our international offices.
Interview Process
- HR interview (30 minutes)
- Manager interview with VP of Marketing (60 minutes)
- Practical task with leadership (60‑90 minutes)
- Cultural interview with colleagues from the Sales & Marketing Teams (45‑60 minutes)
