Job SummaryWe are looking for a technician with 3-5 years of experience in AV to lead large commercial AV installation projects. The successful candidate will have prior experience working with AV systems such as Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, and Extron.ResponsibilitiesSupport, lead, and mentor team membersInstall and service cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices, including pre‑wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications and drawingsInstall audio/visual equipment, including: audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, sound reinforcement, control systems, public announcement systems, and all presentation systemsInteract with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionallyEnsure that safety and incident reporting procedures are followedComplete detailed and accurate paperworkDesign systems and layoutsMaintain a high level of safety and professionalismLead projects at a site level and manage a team of junior technicians as necessaryOther duties as requiredRequired QualificationsAbility to read and interpret AV functional and construction drawingsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detailFlexibility to work in a variety of environments, from construction sites to finished corporate offices3–5 years’ experience installing AV systems preferred; experience from electrical, mechanical, or construction environments will be consideredComfortable working at heightsStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsProficiency in the use of relevant tools and equipmentValid driver’s license with clean abstractMust be able to pass a background checkCan work at a minimum with no supervisionWilling to start CTS certification program within three months of employmentWilling to work one on‑call shift per monthPreferred QualificationsCertifications with Crestron, QSC, CTS, Extron,
