Responsibilities andduties will include, but not belimited:Prepare engineering work packages ensuring budgets and schedules are metDefine electrical project requirements as theyare relatedto scope,costand scheduleDevelop and/or review electrical deliverables such as design requirements, single line diagrams, schematics, datasheets, technical specifications, andmoreWillingness to mentor junior and intermediate staffInterface with other engineering disciplinesincluding participation in design reviewsParticipate in HAZOP, COMS and other safety related reviews asrequiredProvide input to engineering, operating and capital cost estimatesActively manage relationships with clients and vendorsYou bring to the role:B.Sc./B.Eng.Electrical engineeringdegree from an accredited universityAregistered professional engineer in Ontario, or eligible to obtainValid Security clearance for Canada, or the ability to obtainMinimum 10years' experiencein project engineering specific to electrical designExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsAbility to function with minimal supervisionExperience with working inside a Nuclear Quality Management System compliant with CSA N286, NQA-1,



and / or ISO 19443Familiar with grading approach for engineering and procurement activitiesSound understanding of design engineering codes and technical standards specifically CSA N series standards, CEC, NEC/NFPA, IEEE, OESCExperience with construction and commissioningExperience with ETAP or similar electrical analysis softwareExperience working in the Canadian nuclear industry with clients such as Ontario Power Generation, Bruce Power and Canadian Nuclear LaboratoriesExperience with Engineering Change Control (ECC) processes within the Canadian nuclear industry including CANDU station configuration management systems and systems such as Online Wiring.Preference for those with DTL or DE qualifications at Canadian nuclear facilitiesEligible to work on export-controlled projects subject to 10 CFR 810Base salary range: $131,000 - $181,000At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
