We are currently looking to hire an experienced Project Manager with Bridge experience to join our Transportation Practice, which spans across Western Canada with deep expertise in bridges, culverts, and structural rehabilitation, inspection and asset management. In our Winnipeg location we are looking for an experienced professional to join our growing team and provide leadership to our team, and in the delivery of our projects. You'll maintain technical quality, keep projects on time and on budget, and serve as the senior point of contact your clients' trustDevelop people:You will mentor and support junior and intermediate staff, help support our culture of support and success that retains good peopleContribute to a culture that connects our Winnipeg team to AE's broader national network.Help develop the Engineers-in-Training and intermediate engineers who will be the backbone of this practice five years from now.Technical skills:You will also step in to complete design work as needed in support of project teams, and to keep your design skills sharp.Build the Manitoba practice:You will develop and maintain client relationships with clients.You'll identify opportunities, lead pursuits, and build Associated's profile, including in urban and rural communities.You will be supported by our leadership team.The ideal candidate is able to grow new business in communities throughout the region, is interested in advancing in their career, and is self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges.What you bring:Required:Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or an associated discipline from an accredited post-secondary institutionP.Eng. in good standing with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba10+ years of relevant experience with meaningful involvement in bridge design,
rehabilitation or assessmentDemonstrated experience in managing projectsProven track record of successful project delivery and client serviceExperience mentoring and developing junior staff in a collegial environmentPossess a valid class 5 driver's licenseAvailable to travel as requiredAssets we'd value:Established relationships with Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure, City of Winnipegexperience in business development, proposal pursuits, andFamiliarity with rural and remote infrastructureA Master's degree in Structural Engineering.PMP designationAbout UsAt Associated Engineering, we're passionate about not only the work we do but the communities we live and work in.
