TalentSphere is partnering with a Revit‑based architecture firm that specializes in large‑scale multi‑family residential, affordable housing, and assisted living projects. You will join a team of experienced interior designers and work on projects from schematic design through construction. The role offers mentorship from a senior designer approaching retirement and opportunities for growth within a firm with decades of experience and repeat clients.
Qualifications
- 7–12 years of experience with NCIDQ/ARIDO certification
- Strong Revit skills and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign; experience with Bluebeam and Revit rendering software
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code (OBC), National Building Code (NBC), and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
- Advanced furniture, finishes, and equipment (FFE)
skills; solid millwork and lighting (reflected ceilings) experience; ability to lead or support color selection, finishes, and material palettes
- Ability to coordinate closely with internal and external teams, including clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies to drive project progress
- Exceptional communication skills, including free‑hand sketching to convey ideas quickly to decision makers
- Experience mentoring others and reviewing construction documentation drawings
- Experience leading and participating in design presentations
