The Quality Assurance Technician will work in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and all stakeholders to respond to, investigate, and report on product performance issues as identified by our client base.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

- Work closely with the Product Integrity and Quality Assurance team members within Burmac Road and Winkler plants to respond to product performance issues as identified by our client base (including the investigation into and resolution thereof, in a positive manner to the benefit of our clients and our organization).
- Work closely with the Product Integrity Team to effectively inspect and diagnose product issues in a timely manner.
- Direct and develop internal resources to effectively respond to client product performance issues.
- Maintain and develop effective internal support systems to continuously improve the effectiveness of this key organizational resource.
- Perform laboratory testing to measure the effectiveness of critical processes.
- Develop, maintain, and provide ongoing insight to the organization of our Measure of Performance and goals.
- Prioritize and coordinate tasks related to Product Integrity issues and their resolution.
- Conduct all activities and execute all duties with enthusiasm and a positive, results-focused attitude.
- Support company initiatives and policies enthusiastically.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

- Advanced communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and facilitation) required.
- Strong organizational skills are a requirement to be successful in this position.




- Robust skills in Root Cause Analysis and 8D problem solving.
- Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Interaction with clients, driven through positive customer service experience.
- Practical “hands on” experience related to hydraulic systems, their operation and application relative to the OEM construction and agriculture equipment market.
- Practical “hands on” manufacturing experience specific to metals machining, welding, and hydraulic component production.
- Experience in technical report writing.

Education Required

- The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in a mechanical discipline.
- Education or recognized training in Quality Assurance.
- Applicants with hands-on related experience and hydraulic and/or Fluid Power background preferred.

Skills and Attributes Required

- employed mechanical aptitude is absolute requirement of position.Knowledge of hydraulic systems & application is a definite asset.
- Highly motivated, self-starter. Demonstrated ability to adhere to tight schedules with minimal supervision.
- Proven time management and personal organization skills while working on multiple projects with a track record of completion within tight timelines.
- Ideally will have a working knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably within metals machining, welding and hydraulic component / systems.
- An ability to trouble shoot, investigate and determine appropriate action to identify root causes of failure and formulate corrective solutions.
- Proficient with Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other common applications.
