Daily Hours Worked: Various hour shifts (30 to 40 hours per week)

Wage Rate: Compensation is fee-for-service as per the Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living negotiated rates. Average Salary CDN$252,253 to 524,874 (to be negotiated). Minimum Salary will be guaranteed for 1 year.
As the second largest city in Manitoba, with a population of 55,000 and growing, Brandon is the main hub and referral site for southwestern Manitoba, with a catchment area of approximately 200,000 people. Brandon Regional Health Centre is a fully accredited multi-specialty facility with 300+ bed capacity and are currently undergoing a $110 million-dollar expansion of our inpatient care facilities, expected to be completed by 2026.
Our facility operates 3 endoscopy rooms, with a fleet of 45 scopes and offers a high level of service to the Region. Our on-site diagnostic services include radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine. There is a wide range of specialist services available onsite including pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, anesthesia, general surgery, radiology, nuclear medicine, oncology, orthopedic surgery, urology and internal medicine.
Brandon Regional Health Centre is a satellite campus for the University of Manitoba and the Rady Faulty of Medicine, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the teaching/mentoring of medical learners.
The ideal candidate should have excellent skills in interventional gastroenterology and the ability to perform minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders. The ideal candidate must be able to perform interventional endoscopies including, but not limited to Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and other advanced therapeutic procedures.
Additional training and fellowship in therapeutic endoscopy preferred Management of inflammatory bowel disease is desired. Qualified PRA candidates are encouraged to apply, provided they meet eligibility requirements.
