Thermon is seeking an Application Specialist/Engineer to oversee sales activities tied to engineered products. This role demands a solid mechanical engineering foundation, alongside knowledge in process and electrical systems. You'll prioritize incoming RFQs, design conceptual solutions, and engage with clients to provide tailored technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review RFQ specifications for electric heating systems • Develop conceptual designs for engineered products • Prepare cost estimates and proposals based on RFQs • Evaluate design modifications and improvement solutions • Collaborate with internal teams to establish delivery expectations
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience • Minimum 5 years in the industrial process field • Knowledge of ASME BPVC and electrical certifications • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
