Trillium Health Partners is seeking a temporary part-time Laboratory Technician for their laboratory department. You will perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages, prepare specimens, and travel to off-site collection clinics. Adaptable availability for rotating shifts is essential, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct phlebotomy on children, adults, and neonates
• Prepare and process specimens accurately
• Sort and accession specimens for laboratory use
• Travel to off-site collection clinics as needed
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
Requirements:
• Completed accredited Laboratory or Medical Assistant course
• OSMT or CSMLS certification preferred
• Experience in hospital phlebotomy settings
• Must be available for all shifts 24/7
• Minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m.
