Canfor is seeking a skilled Certified Millwright for its Prince George sawmill. In this full-time role, you will become an integral part of a high-performance team maintaining and optimizing mill machinery. Your solid troubleshooting abilities, communication skills, and dedication to safety will ensure smooth operations and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on machinery
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical irregularities and malfunctions




• Manage time effectively for machinery assembly and repairs
• Identify necessary parts for repairs efficiently
• Contribute to a safe work environment for all team members
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certification required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong sense of urgency in operations
• Knowledge of lumber manufacturing processes is a plus
• Experience with welding procedures preferred
