As a Tax Specialist within the Fund Tax group, you will support the oversight, review, and reporting of tax distributions for Canadian investment funds while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations. You will contribute to tax reporting, compliance initiatives, and technical tax matters impacting investment funds. This role requires solid technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work within established tax processes to mitigate risk and drive operational excellence. Support the Fund Tax team by providing technical tax guidance to operational partners. Assist in engagements with external tax advisors on fund-related tax matters, as required. Support oversight of investment fund distributions, including managing service provider relationships and year-end tax processes. Participate in fund tax compliance activities, including the preparation and review of annual tax returns and regulatory filings. Monitor changes in tax legislation and support related implementation initiatives.
