Dalhousie University is seeking up to six part-time instructors to guide students through Occupational Therapy Skills Labs and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations. This role combines foundational occupational therapy instruction with assessments and documentation focused on musculoskeletal and physical health conditions. Each instructor will engage in tutoring and evaluating students, requiring on-site presence during specified dates in November and December.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tutor and evaluate students in Occupational Therapy Skills Labs
• Facilitate problem-based learning experiences
• Engage in Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs)
• Attend scheduled orientation and special events labs
• Assist with Lab/OSCE preparation and delivery as necessary
Requirements:
• Entry-to-practice qualification in occupational therapy
• Current licensed occupational therapist registration
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Clinical experience in inpatient and community settings preferred
• Access to the Brightspace platform required
