What You'll Do

- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment in a civil construction environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and complete pre-trip and post-trip documentation
- Conduct routine maintenance and identify mechanical concerns
- Read grades, stakes, plans, and site instructions
- Work closely with Foremen, Gradepersons, Labourers, and Project Teams
- Maintain production while ensuring quality workmanship
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and protected work practices
- Contribute to a positive, professional team environment

Requirements

- Minimum of 3+ years experience operating heavy equipment




- Experience operating multiple types of machinery is considered an asset
- Ability to perform finish grading and interpret survey stakes accurately
- Physically able to meet job demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Capable of adapting to varying job site conditions and challenges
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
- CSTS and Ground Disturbance certification are a condition of employment

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test as a condition of employment.
