SALARY
$36.25 per hour; full time position (40 hours/week)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee, organize, plan and control the operation of the catering business
- Planning and executing marketing strategies to promote the catering business
- Provide sample products at meetings with clients to grow catering business
- Understand specific customer needs according to food allergies and sensitivity and provide options
- Developing menus in collaboration with the chef, considering factors such as the type of event and the client’s budget
- Recruiting, training, and managing staff to provide high-quality service
- Organizing and supervising the work of the catering team to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen and other food preparation areas
- Establishing relationships with vendors and negotiating contracts for food and other supplies
- Controlling budgets and minimizing expenditure by efficiently managing resources
- Conducting regular inventory checks and ordering supplies as necessary
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience
- Experience working with marketing team to expand catering menus
- Management of material and financial resources
- Experience in poke bowls and smoothie bowls “in a reputed franchise”
- Experience in family-style catering and with live catering events for salad, poke and smoothie bowls
- Experience in gluten-free and vegan baking and preparationsExperience in gluten-free and vegan smoothie recipes creations
- Experience in South Asia flavour system wraps
- Driven and focused
