Reporting to the Head, Digital Product Management, Global Wealth Management (GWM), this individual will be responsible for shaping and executing the digital product strategy for Advised Client journeys. The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of digital products within the wealth management space, and a solid understanding of the financial services industry. They will lead the evolution of our digital product practice, fostering consistency in product development, ways of working, capability reuse, and practice management.ResponsibilitiesSupport seven key GWM Journeys with a focus in creating consistency, scalability, and competitive differentiation for GWM including Scotia Wealth Management Web/Mobile platforms (servicing ScotiaMcLeod, Scotia Jarislowsky Fraser and Scotiatrust), MD Investment Management Web/Mobile and ExO platforms and International Wealth Management Web/Mobile platformsUphold digital accessibility standards, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are metClearly articulate the product vision and company strategy, ensuring the team understands how their work contributes to the overall goals of the organizationAct as a bridge between the product teams and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with stakeholdersProactively identify and remove impediments that are hindering the team's progressCoach the team to focus on delivering value to the customer and achieving desired business outcomesEncourage and enable the team to use data and user insights to inform their decisions and validate their assumptionsFoster a culture of innovation, client centricity,
and collaboration with the digital practice and with partnersDirect day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank's risk culture, with day-to-day obligations to meet operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct riskCreate a team environment that operates in accordance with Scotiabank Values and its Code of ConductBuild a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates by fostering an inclusive work environment and a coaching mindset & behaviorsClearly communicate visions, values, team strategy and manage team successionSkillsA Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferredA minimum of 7 years of experience in digital product management, preferably within wealth managementStrong knowledge of wealth management concepts, products, and customer needsExperience working in or with financial institutions or fintech organizations, with a explicit understanding of regulatory considerations and industry best practicesA proven track record of leading customer-centric digital transformation initiatives, particularly in mobile and digital-first environmentsPreferred experience with authenticated client portals (mobile and web)Demonstrated expertise in developing and launching digital solutionsStrong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesLocation(s): Canada : Ontario : TorontoWe value the unique skills and experiences each individual brings to the Bank, and are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive and accessible environment for everyone.
