Support clients through compassionate care as a Personal Support Worker with VON in their Home Support program. This part-time role focuses on enhancing the independence and well-being of every client.
In this permanent position, you will work 45 hours bi-weekly on days and weekends. As a Personal Support Worker, you’ll assess home situations, implement necessary changes to care plans, and perform diverse tasks from personal care to household management. You will play an integral role in promoting a safe and comfortable workplace for clients while collaborating with health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor clients’ living conditions and adapt care plans
• Assist with personal care, meals, and housekeeping




• Communicate effectively with families and health teams
• Conduct daily check-ins to ensure client safety
• Follow all occupational health regulations
Requirements:
• High school diploma with CCA Certification
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Relevant experience with vulnerable populations
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance
• Current First Aid/CPR credentials required
