As a Tool Designer at DBG, you will be critical in designing recent stamping dies and various fixtures for automotive manufacturing. With at least eight years in mechanical design, you will create detailed drawings and BOMs while collaborating with tool rooms and vendors. Your efforts will directly impact the quality and efficiency in automotive tool solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design new stamping dies and assembly fixtures
• Modify existing tooling for continuous improvements
• Create BOMs and detailed drawings for designs
• Collaborate with vendors on tooling designs
• Maintain accurate plant layouts and document changes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 years of experience in mechanical design
• 3+ years in stamping die design
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience in quoting tools is a plus
