In this full time role, you'll be an integral part of the ACT multidisciplinary team. Your primary responsibility will be to share your recovery journey to aid clients in symptom management and personal growth. Collaborate closely with team members to foster a supportive environment that respects each client's unique experiences and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide peer counseling and consultation to clients and families
• Act as a liaison with community resources and services
• Assist in rehabilitative support functions following the ACT model




• Facilitate educational workshops and crisis intervention efforts
• Maximize client self-determination in treatment plans
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in health or social services
• 2 years' experience with severe mental illness
• 1 year in community mental health setting preferred
• Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation principles
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
