You are tasked with ensuring the quality of all components processed within MacLean’s fabrication areas. This position requires not just expertise but also the ability to mentor and guide others towards operational excellence. Your attention to quality and compliance will drive improvements and reduce defects within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough quality inspections on fabrication components
• Identify and report weld defects promptly
• Assist with Root Cause analysis for non-conformance
• Maintain calibration records of measuring devices
• Monitor in-process inspections for paint and blast procedures
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent certification needed
• 3+ years' experience related to fabrication and inspection
• Previous CWB welding certificate is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications
• Familiarity with MS Office applications beneficial
