The Support and Development Center provides services to Agnico Eagles various Canadian and / or international mining operations in a variety of areas,
including administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction as well as technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation).
Reporting to the Corporate Director, Innovation, you will be part of the Innovation team and actively contribute to the development and deployment of innovative energy solutions across Agnico Eagle’s operations. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and advancing solutions related to energy generation, storage and management, with a particular focus on alternative and renewable energy sources. You will contribute to the development of strategic projects aimed at reducing the Company’s carbon footprint, securing energy supply, and improving overall energy performance. You will also support various groups in the integration of energy-related technologies and initiatives.
Specifically, you will:
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; possibility of a 5-2/4-3 work schedule;
Work Location: Opportunity to work from one of Agnico Eagle’s offices closest to your residence, including Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d’Or, or Mirabel. A hybrid work arrangement may be available, allowing employees to work some days from an Agnico Eagle office and some days remotely.
