City of Guelph seeks a Licensed Millwright with at least four years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in water environments. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and coordinate with contractors. This role significantly supports the functionality and compliance of wastewater treatment operations in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on pumps, valves, and motors
• Troubleshoot and analyze mechanical equipment failures
• Coordinate repairs with external contractors safely
• Manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Maintain compliance with regulations and health standards
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma and 4 years of maintenance experience
• Valid Industrial Maintenance Millwright Certificate (433A)
• Class G driver’s license in valuable standing
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
