Role Description

This is a full time hybrid role, based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility to work from home on select days. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in fund accounting, and preparing financial reports. Day‑to‑day tasks include calculating net asset values (NAV), preparing financial statements, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and handling fund‑related operations. The role requires close collaboration with the broader finance team to deliver high‑quality services to our clients.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and experience in Fund Accounting and NAV calculations
- Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Solid understanding of Finance principles and practices
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation or equivalent (a strong asset)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in private equity or venture capital fund accounting is an advantage
