Family Day is seeking an Assistant Teacher to collaborate with E.C.E. Teachers in creating a stimulating Early Learning and Development Program for children aged 0-12. You will engage in planning and evaluating educational activities, addressing the diverse needs of every child. With a commitment to community values, this role emphasizes the importance of empathy and respectful communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support High/Scope educational approach in curriculum
• Assist E.C.E. in program planning reflecting children's interests
• Participate in children's progress observation and assessment




• Provide individual program plans for children with special needs
• Maintain equipment and activity areas for optimal learning
Requirements:
• Prior experience in child care or educational settings
• Knowledge of early learning best practices
• Strong skills in communication and organization
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
