Under the supervision of the Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager, the Aircraft Maintenance Inspector at Nolinor plays a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of aeronautical operations.
Responsibilities
- Issue AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure delegated personnel hold the appropriate licences
- Approve and maintain weight‑and‑balance records, certificates of airworthiness, registration certificates, and ensure their presence on board
- Oversee maintenance staff training, perform in‑progress inspections, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures
- Monitor discovered defects, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work
- Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure regulatory compliance
Desired Skills
- College diploma (DEC) or attestation (AEC) in aircraft maintenance
- M2 licence and a minimum of 10 years' experience in aircraft maintenance
- At least 5 years of experience as a Preflight Mechanic Inspector in the aviation industry
Requirements
- Autonomy, initiative and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, certification authorities and suppliers
- Strong technical skills in aircraft maintenance, including knowledge of applicable standards and regulations
- Ability to perform thorough and accurate inspections with solid attention to detail
- Aptitude for managing and maintaining maintenance records in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with airworthiness management procedures and technical documentation
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and make informed decisions in complex situations
- Commitment to safety and quality, with a deep understanding of aviation safety management systems
