Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and productive workflow
Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic adjustments and pediatric treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for precise imaging when needed
Manage patient records using Tracker electronic health record systems for accurate documentation
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Support the dental team with administrative tasks,
inventory management, and maintaining compliance with medical terminology standards
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role in a busy dental practice
Proficiency with dental software such as Tracker for scheduling, billing, and record keeping
Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is highly preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and general healthcare settings
Strong understanding of infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and OSHA regulations
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
