Working hours: 7 AM - 5 PM M/F with willingness to work evenings/weekends as the season requires
Duration of season: late April to mid October, with chance for snow removal availability over winter months if desired
Valid driver's license required
Education: completion of high school
Ag college/university or direct farm experience preferred
Experience Required
Operation of farm tractors, knowledge of satellite navigation and autosteer systems preferred
Application of fertilizers and chemical pesticides
Forklift, loader and/or skid steer operation
Physically capable of heavy lifting, including repetitive lifting of objects over 50 lbs
Light duty mechanical knowledge an asset
Current pesticide certification an asset, or willingness to obtain one
Job Expectations- the Agricultural Equipment Operator will be expected to:
Apply herbicides and fertilizers as detailed by farm management
Provide scouting reports to farm management
Mow sod with wide-area tow behind mowers as required
Conduct preventative maintenance such as greasing, cleaning and inspection of farm equipment
Work cooperatively with the farm team during seeding season, including operating and loading the seed drill
Assist with general farm duties including maintaining compost piles, assisting the harvest team, ground preparation, filling washouts, etc.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
