Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items and quantities before departure
Collect payments from customers and issue receipts as necessary
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
Familiarity with local roads and routes
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
Robust customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
Ability to lift heavy packages and load/unload them from the delivery vehicle
