About the Role

DPAL Construction is looking for a hardworking and reliable Construction Labourer to join our growing team. We're looking for someone with a robust work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a professional crew on a variety of residential renovation and restoration projects.

This position offers the chance to gain valuable experience while working alongside experienced carpenters and tradespeople.

Responsibilities
Assist carpenters with interior and exterior renovation projects.
Load, unload, and organize tools and materials.
Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after work.
Assist with the installation of trim, doors, fencing, decks, and other carpentry projects.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
Follow instructions from the Lead Carpenter and Site Supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform general labour duties as required.

Qualifications
Previous construction experience is an asset but not required.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.




Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work well with others and follow direction.
Good communication skills.
English proficiency is preferred to ensure explicit communication with supervisors, clients, and other trades.

Requirements
Valid driver's licence is preferred.
Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Agassiz.
Steel-toe boots and basic PPE.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
Punctual, dependable, and ready to work in all weather conditions when required.
