We are seeking a Tool and Die Maker to join our team! In this role you will be providing workmanship by maintaining and improving production tooling, and supporting Ultramet's Press Shop delivery commitments.

Shift: Day Shift 7:00am- 3:00pm

We are located at 5153 Fountain St. N (Breslau, ON)

Reporting to: Tooling Supervisor

Job Responsibilities
Perform machining operations to a high degree of tolerance.
Operate an overhead crane.
Troubleshoot, and make the necessary press adjustments
Maintain, improve, repair or modify tools, dies and fixtures
Able to read/interpret part drawings
Able to interpret CMM reports and make the necessary corrections to tools
List recommendations for Tool improvements
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed
Experience in Progressive Dies

Requirements and Qualifications
Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.




Recognized completion of Tool and Die Apprenticeship or 5 years related experience in tool and progressive die maintenance in a stamping environment
Overhead Crane Certificate
Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to approximately 40 lbs
Transfer die experience
Previous experience within the automotive manufacturing industry is an asset
