Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our food service operation, providing excellent customer service while ensuring that food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will assist in food preparation, manage transactions at the point of sale (POS), and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the POS system for processing transactions efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces.
Assist in stocking supplies and inventory management as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines during all food handling processes.
Help train recent staff members on food preparation techniques and customer service protocols.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
Familiarity with cashiering duties, including operating a POS system, is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to multitask effectively in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
