Duties
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of children
Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Collaborate with families to support each child's individual needs and developmental goals
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and daily activities
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure consistency in care and educational strategies
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times
Lead classroom routines such as circle time, story sessions, meal times, and transitions with enthusiasm and organization
Requirements
Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) with the appropriate licensing body
Fluency in English
Demonstrated experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain accurate records
Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while fostering a collaborative team environment
